An awareness programme on Filariasis was successfully conducted with support of our Club members along with the members from Urban Primary Health Centre, Margherita on 19th February/26 at Station Para Margherita in association with Urban PHC, Margherita. The programme witnessed active participation around 120 person from the local community. The resource person was Rtn. Dr. D. Borthakur (Secretary) delivered an informative session highlighting the causes of Filariasis, incumbtion process, disease pattern, preventive measures, possible complications & available treatment options.
